127. ¿A quién pues acudir?

1.
¿A quién pues acudir? Esta asolada tierra,
Dominio de Satán, solo es ruina y ficción;
3.
¿A quién pues acudir? Señor tus verdes prados
Traen de Dios el bien, célica bendición;
Tus palabras son vida, a tus pies adorados
Las bebemos aquí, en dulce comunión.
4.
¿A quién pues acudir? Tu voz de encantos llena
Nos dice: «No temáis, siempre confiad en Mí»;
Consuelo Tú nos das, de gozo el alma plena;
¿A quién pues acudir ¡oh Jesús! sino a Ti?
1.
“To whom shall we go?” This desolate land,
Dominion of Satan, is only ruins and lies;
Who would ever want to build their house in this wilderness?
Or rather for blessing find the rock and protection?
2.
“To whom shall we go?” in search of the knowledge
Of the great God of truth, of light and pure love?
Who else would ever give us peace, forgiveness, and kindness,
To relieve the soul of it’s overwhelming burden?
3.
“To whom shall we go?” Lord, Thy green pastures
Bring us all good from God, heavenly blessing.
Thy words are life itself – here at Thy blessed feet
In sweet fellowship, we drink them in.
4.
“To whom shall we go?” Thy voice that fills with delight says to us,
“Fear not, always trust in Me.”
You give us comfort and fill our souls with joy;
“To whom shall we go,” oh Jesus, but to Thee?
