150. ¡Todo eres Tú, Señor!

1.
¡Todo eres Tú, Señor!, gracia, paz y alegría,
Y de nuestra canción la dulce melodía;
2.
De fuente terrenal bebimos mucha pena;
El triunfo de tu cruz ya quita la condena;
1.
Thou art everything, Lord!
Grace, peace and joy, and our song’s sweet melody;
You surround us with favor; You take away all sorrow,
And You make the holy spring give more and more.
2.
From earthly wells we drank much shame,
Children of wrath, the soul full of evil,
We fled from Thy face, from Thy grace O Jesus!
Servants of a hostile world that rejected Thy light.
3.
Of our evil, Lord, You break the chain,
The triumph of Thy cross removes the sentence;
What joy to receive by faith Thy salvation!
Thy peace and the enjoyment of the gift of Thy Spirit.
4.
Ah! Such sublime love makes the fire of constant praise
To burn in the heart that loves Thee.
Guide it and may it take its flight to where Thou art
And the goodness that awaits us there.
