Dios y Padre, te alabamos
Por tu celestial favor;
Tus hijos aquí ensalzamos
Tu poder, tu grande amor;
Un amor eterno, intenso,
Nos mostraste por Jesús,
Pues que con dolor inmenso
Dio su vida en una cruz.

Libertados por su muerte,
Prosigamos al hogar;
En tu luz nos diste suerte,
De tu reino el disfrutar;
El Consolador guiando,
Nos conduce ¡Oh Padre a Ti!
Gozo siempre al alma dando
Cual maná secreto aquí.

Si se extiende gran desierto
Donde estamos en redor,
Ve-se un manantial abierto
De dulzura y de frescor;
Nuestras pruebas olvidamos
Al gozar aquí tu paz;
Y tus glorias contemplamos
Al ver de Jesús la faz.

God and Father You we worship, for Your heavenly favor here;
As Your sons we’re now exalting, Your great love, Your mighty power;
Such a love, intense, eternal, You have shown in Jesus Christ,
For with agony unmeasured, on the cross He gave His life.
2.
By His death now liberated, we continue on toward home,
For Your light predestinated, in Christ’s kingdom soon to come.
While the Comforter does guide us, Father to Your presence near,
Fills our souls and does delight us, with the secret manna here.
3.
Though a desert now surrounding –vast, the end we cannot trace–
Lo, a fountain is abounding! It refreshes us with grace.
All our trials are soon forgotten, as we here Your peace enjoy,
In the face of Jesus seeing Your glories without alloy.
