Padre, tu soberano amor
En cautiverio nos buscó,
Tu Hijo, nuestro Salvador,
En paz a Ti nos presentó.

Hoy como hijos ante Ti,
Nos da gozo al atravesar
La senda que conduce allí,
Do Él nos preparó lugar.
3.
Tu casa regia brilla allá
Con gloria y paz en plenitud;
El mismo amor que todo da,
Nos hizo tuyos por Jesús.

¡Oh gracia suma!, lo que allí
De éxtasis llena todo ser,
Con Él participando aquí,
Bien nos es dado a conocer.

De aquella esfera el resplandor,
Luz, verdad y poder de Dios,
Es Cristo ¡oh Padre! y su amor,
Solo gozamos de Él en pos.

Has sought us in captivity,

Presented us to You in peace.

Before You here as sons today,
He gives joy in our pilgrimage,
And leads us to You in the way,
Where He prepared for us a place.

Thy royal home above does shine
With brightest glory and with peace.
The very love that made us Yours
In Jesus Christ, shall never cease.

Oh grace sublime! Which there above
Fills every creature with delight,
While we take part in His great love,
And learn His goodness here in light.

From that bright sphere before His face,
Light, truth and power of our God,
Father, ‘tis Christ, His love and grace,
We do enjoy while here we trod.
