Perfecto, inmutable, nos llena de fervor;
Amándonos bajaste a nuestro mundo cruel:
La vida Tú ofrendaste, poderoso Emmanuel.

Por nuestro amor tomaste humana encarnación,
Por nuestro amor llevaste terrible maldición;
Sufriste el desamparo, la ira y amargor,
Debidos al pecado, en todo su rigor.

Por nuestro amor vertiste tu sangre ¡oh Jesús!
Por sustituirnos fuiste enclavado en la cruz;
A Ti por siempre unidos, del Padre mismo el don,
