5. Por nuestro Dios llamados
1.
Por nuestro Dios llamados
Al Hijo a contemplar,
Estamos preparados
A su favor gozar;
Y por las bendiciones
Que disfrutamos ya,
Sabemos cuáles dones
Él nos repartirá.
2.
Con gozo contemplamos,
¡Oh celestial favor!
El Padre amando al Hijo
Con un excelso amor;
Divina complacencia
Se halla en un varón,
El Hijo satisface
Del Padre el corazón.
3.
Jesús, aún rechazado
Del mundo pecador,
Por Dios es coronado
De gloria y de honor,
Quien de la cruz horrenda
Sufrió la maldición,
Hoy, centro en luz eterna,
Recibe adoración.
4.
Cantar de amor resuena
Doquier, con santo ardor,
Se eleva por el Hijo
Al Padre en su loor;
Es grande el regocijo,
Es puro y eternal,
Pues llenan los salvados
La casa paternal.
1.
Our God has us invited
To contemplate His Son;
We are prepared, O Father,
Your favor to enjoy.
And by each grace You gave us,
Each blessing You outpour,
We know what gifts await us
On heaven’s blessed shore.
2.
With joy we now consider
–A heav’nly blessing ours!–
The Father’s love and favor
That on His Son He showers.
Divine delight and pleasure
Is centered in one Man,
Who satisfies the Father,
As only His Son can.
3.
Jesus, though still rejected
By this world’s sinful band,
By God is crowned, exalted,
Honored at His right hand.
For He Who once did suffer
The curse upon the cross
Is now the glory’s center,
Worshipped for all His loss.
4.
Love’s joyful song that’s ringing
With zeal from shore to shore
Is raised up to the Father
By His Son evermore.
What glory, what rejoicing,
What pure, eternal praise,
The Father’s sons are voicing,
And in His house shall raise.
