Vemos a Jesús dotado
Del poder que Dios le dio,
Pero siempre recordamos
Que la muerte aquí sufrió.

Cada signo de deshonra,
Sus angustias, su dolor,
Hoy encuentran recompensa
En el paternal favor.

En la cruz Él fue dejado
Sin tener consolación,
Hoy se halla entronizado
Con real veneración.

Quien llevó de aguda espina
La corona con dolor,
Célica diadema lleva,
La del Hombre vencedor.

We see Jesus, endowed of the power that God has given Him,
But we always remember that He suffered death here.
2.
Every sign of shame, His anguish and pain,
Today they find reward in the Fatherly favor.
3.
At the cross He has been forsaken without having consolation,
Today He is enthroned with real worship.
4.
Who carried with pain the crown with sharp thorns,
He carries heavenly diadems, the one of the victorious man.
