84. El amor de Dios es grande

El amor de Dios es grande,
No podrá jamás cesar;
Más aumenta, más se expande,
Cuanto más le dan lugar;
De ese amor, la fuente viva,
Fluyen paz, justicia y luz,
Y el poder de nueva vida
Nos es dado por Jesús.
2.
Demostró la cruz de Cristo
Que era Dios un Dios de amor
Y de luz, que allí se ha visto
Esplendente cual albor;
La eternal justicia hallaba
En la cruz satisfacción,
A la par que Dios mostraba
Su clemente corazón.

¡Oh qué triunfo más brillante!
En el cielo un Hombre entró;
Y es allá Jefe y garante
De su pueblo que salvó;
Santo amor fue revelado
Por el hecho de la cruz,
Y Jesús ha demostrado
Su justicia en plena luz.

Sí, descansan los creyentes
Viendo en gloria a su Señor,
Paz y gozo permanentes
Tienen por su fiel amor;
Y los fuertes eslabones:
Simpatía y comunión,
Unen ya sus corazones
Con los que de Cristo son.
