108. En la célica morada

1.
Donde cada voz ensalza al Autor de todo bien;
2.
Oración, deberes, penas, vías que anduvimos ya,
Poseyendo las riquezas que Jesús nos guarda allá;
1.
In the heavenly abode
Of the summits of Eden
Where every voice praises
The author of all good
We will forget
All the sorrow and sadness
So many struggles of the spirit
With our poor heart.
Estribillo:
Yes, there it will be pleasant to think
Of our faithful and blessed Shepherd
Who helped us to arrive.
2.
Prayers, trials, hardship
And ways that we have already gone through
Possessing the riches that Jesus
Has saved for us there
Our memory will be
Protected from remembering the pain
From the long and rough way
With its struggles and its fear.
Yes, there it will be pleasant to think, etc.
3.
The kindness with which He looks at us
Without tiring even when
He sees but little fruit in our life
And our faith to be so weak
We will remember that:
In this heavenly place
Where the soul is united with Jesus
And in Him we will have unparalleled delight.
Yes, there it will be pleasant to think, etc.
