17. En Cristo bendecidos

En Cristo bendecidos te loamos ¡oh Dios!
Y alegres elevamos nuestra ferviente voz,
En lo que ha consumado podemos descansar,
Y hallamos dulce agrado en su loor cantar.

¡Oh Padre, qué belleza en tu Hijo se ve!
Belleza distinguida ahora por la fe,
Belleza que delante tus ojos siempre está,
Belleza que incesante placer a Ti te da.
3.
En Él también contemplas a Aquel que vino aquí,
Y por su acerba muerte honró tu trono allí,
Y con su propia sangre cumplió la expiación,
Que acrecentó tu gloria con nuestra salvación.
4.
¡Loor a tu grandeza y gloria por tu amor!
Gloria admirable, inmensa, de nuestro Redentor;
Los siglos infinitos siempre repetirán
La historia de tu gracia y honores te darán.

We are so blessed in Christ so our God, we give You praise!
For this we now are gladdened; our fervent voice we raise.
The work that He has finished, to rest has brought us now,
To praise is our sweet pleasure, to sing, and worship You.
2.
Oh Father, what great beauty in Your blest Son we view!
Beauty that is distinguished by faith in Christ and You.
Beauty that’s always shining before Your blessed eyes,
Beauty that’s always filling Your heart with great delight.
3.
In Him Whom You consider and contemplate in love
Him Who by death so horrid, honored Your throne above;
And by His own blood poured out, He our redemption paid
And brought You greatest glory, and our salvation made.
4.
Father, we praise Your greatness and glory in Your love!
What glory without measure in our Redeemer God!
The long, eternal ages, shall echo with Your praise,
Forever You we’ll honor, the story of Your grace.
