Despertad, la voz nos llama,
Del guarda fiel la gran proclama;
¡Despierta, pueblo de David!
Ya la media noche suena,
Venid a la celeste cena;
Prudentes vírgenes salid,
A vuestro Esposo ved,
La lámpara encended;
¡Aleluya!
Presto acudid al Adalid,
Con júbilo a sus bodas id.

Escuchando el dulce canto,
Jerusalén con gozo santo,
Despierta, alegre, pronta está;
El Esposo que del cielo
Desciende, está de gracia lleno,
Su blanca aurora brilla ya,
¡Bendito Salvador!
Clamemos con fervor
El Hosanna;
Luz celestial, marcha triunfal,
Que guía a la fiesta nupcial.

Suba el himno a Ti cantado
Por los salvados y entonado
En arpas de sonora voz;
De oro y jaspe son las piedras
Y doce perlas son las puertas
De la mansión de nuestro Dios;
Jamás el ojo vio,
Ningún oído oyó
Tanto gozo,
A disfrutar id y a cantar
El Aleluya sin cesar.

Of the faithful watchman, the great proclaim;
Awake, people of David!
The midnight already sounds,
Come to the celestial supper;
Wise virgins rise, see Your Bridegroom,
Light the lamp; Alleluia!
Go quickly to the Leader, go to His wedding with joy.

Listen to the sweet hymn,
Jerusalem with holy joy,
Awaken, happy and ready;
The Bridegroom who descends from heaven, is full of grace.
His white morning already shines, Blessed Savior!
Let us call out the Hosanna with fervor;
Celestial light, triumphant march
That guides to the marriage feast.

Lift the hymn, singing to You
By the saved ones, and singing
With harps in a loud voice;
The stones are of gold and jasper
And the doors are of twelve pearls
Of the mansion of our God; the eye has never seen,
The ear has never heard such a joy,
Go to enjoy and to sing the Alleluia without end.
