Aquí no teniendo ciudad permanente,
Buscamos una do brilla eterna luz;
Hacia ella, Señor, nos conduces fielmente,
Habiéndonos redimido por tu cruz.

Por Ti, ¡oh Señor!, nuestra vida en la gloria
Tu luz perfecta allí reflejará,
Los trofeos ya somos de tu victoria,
Y el pecado, entonces, ya no existirá.

Allí tu faz veremos, ¡santo Cordero!,
Cual puras almas oiremos tu voz;
Nuestro gozo será eterno y verdadero,
En la presencia de nuestro Padre y Dios.

Dorthin, Herr, führst Du uns in Treue,
indem Du uns durch Dein Kreuz erlöst hast.

Durch Dich, o Herr, wird unser Leben in der Herrlichkeit
Dein vollkommenes Licht widerspiegeln.
Wir sind die Beweise Deines Sieges,
und Sünde wird es dann nicht mehr geben.

Heiliges Lamm, dort werden wir Dich sehen,
als fleckenlose Seelen werden wir Deine Stimme hören.
Unsere Freude wird ewig und wahrhaftig sein
in der Gegenwart unseres Gottes und Vaters.

Là-haut nous verrons ta face, saint Agneau !
Comme des âmes pures, nous entendrons ta voix,
