A Ti mi voz elevo,
De penas rodeado;
Señor, propicio escucha
La voz de mi quebranto.

Pues como Tú tan solo
Perdonas al culpado,
En Ti tan solo espero
Y vivo confiado.

En tu palabra eterna,
Tu sabio y justo fallo,
Y en tu voluntad santa,
Consuelo siempre hallo.

Será tu fiel palabra,
En mis penas y pruebas,
Mi tierno consejero
Que alumbra mis tinieblas.

Zu Dir erhebe ich meine Stimme,
umgeben von Leid,
Herr, höre gnädig
auf die Stimme meines Zerbrochenseins.
2.
Da nur Du allein
dem Schuldigen vergeben kannst,
hoffe ich nur auf Dich
und lebe voller Vertrauen.
3.
In Deinem ewigen Worte,
Deinen weisen und gerechten Aussprüchen
und in Deinem heiligen Willen
finde ich allezeit Trost.
4.
Dein treues Wort, das
in meiner Not und meinen Prüfungen
mein zartfühlender Ratgeber ist,
wird mir die Finsternis erhellen.

Lord, listen propitiously
To the voice of my suffering.

Because only Thou
Doest forgive the guilty one,
In Thee only do I wait
And I live confidently.

In Thy eternal word,
Thy wise and righteous statement,
And in Thy holy will,
I always find consolation.

Thy faithful Word will be,
In my sorrows and trials,
My tender adviser
That enlightens my darkness.

Car toi seul
Tu pardonnes au coupable.
En toi seul est mon attente
Et je vis confiant.

En ta parole éternelle,
En ton sage et juste jugement,
Et en ta sainte volonté,
Je trouve en tout temps la consolation.

Ta parole fidèle sera,
Dans mes peines et mes épreuves,
Mon tendre conseiller,
Qui illumine ma nuit.
